Patna: Former Vice-Chancellor of Magadh University and well-known geographer of the country Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter School Cricket Tournament will be organised from May 22 at Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) ground. This information was given by Amikar Dayal, director of the Cricket Academy of Bihar and former captain of the Indian youth cricket team.
He said that teams from schools, academies, and institutions will participate in this tournament. He said that the matches would be played on a knockout basis. Only 24 teams will be allowed to participate in this tournament. Refreshments and soft drinks will be arranged by the organising committee.
He said that the matches will be played on a 25-over-a-side basis. Two matches will be played daily.
He said that Santosh Tiwari has been made the organising secretary for the successful conduct of the tournament. The winning and runner-up teams in this tournament will be given individual prizes apart from the trophies. Along with this, the Man of the Match award will be given every day. To play in the match, the birth certificate for age verification, Aadhaar card will have to be brought by the player during each match.
