Gaya: Bihar entered the quarterfinals of the boys category at the 34th National Sub Junior Boys and Girls Kabaddi Championships being held in the premises of the local GD Goenka Public School, Rasalpur Gaya. In the pre-quarterfinals of the boys category, Bihar defeated Madhya Pradesh 66-23 and advanced into the quarterfinals. In the pre-quarterfinals of the girls category, Bihar lost to Tamil Nadu 33-34.
Apart from Bihar, Haryana, Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, SAI, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan have entered the boys category quarterfinals.
Haryana, Assam, UP, Goa, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and Punjab have entered the quarterfinals in the girls category.
Earlier, apart from Bihar, Haryana, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, SAI, UP, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh had entered the pre-quarterfinals of the boys category.
Along with Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, UP, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Rajasthan, SAI, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Delhi teams had made it to the pre-quarterfinals in the girls’ category.
