Patna: Colorful jerseys for the players playing in the fourth edition of Casa Picolla School Cricket League Under-15, to be organized at Shri Krishna Stadium, Khemnichak , Patna from March 30 under the aegis of Turning Point, were unveiled here on Friday.
In this league, 12 teams namely Bihars Knightriders, Manav Rachna Lions, Oxford Super Kings, GNIOT Blasters, JIS Jabanj, RIT Champions, Lloyd Changers, Sanskriti Dabangg, Rungta Warriors, Baddi Fighters, SKM Bombers, BBIT Thunderbolts will take part.
The jerseys of the teams were unveiled by Vijay Sharma, Director of Turning Point, Rajesh Sharma of Casa Picolla, Saurabh Chakraborty, Technical Director of the League, Convenor Sumit Sharma, Co-convenor Naveen Kumar, Pankaj Kumar of GNIOT, Raju Mishra of Manav Rachna International University, Sanskriti University. Kapil Mittal, Arman Abbas of JIS Group, Javed Ashraf of RIT Roorkee, Sudhanshu Kumar of Oxford Business College, Deepak Sinha of Ruganta Group, Manish Kumar of Baddi University, Gulab A Mustafa of SKM Group, AK Shekhawat of Bihars Group, Lloyd Group’s Safdar Ali, Sunil Sau of BBIT, GS Sharma of Career Mission School, Prashant Kumar Jha of Bizarrio Security and Intelligence Service, Prem Ranjan of The Arvind Mount Academy, Mithilesh Kumar, Director of Mitihlesh Commerce and Rajni Ranjan, Director of Two Learning.
League convenor Naveen Kumar said that the matches will be conducted by the technical officials of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. All matches will be played with white ball. The balls have been manufactured specifically for this league. All types of preparations have been completed. He informed that the list of players of all twelve teams has been released. He informed that several committees have been formed for the successful conduct of the matches. Mainly Ground Committee and Technical Committee. Both these committees have been strengthened. The matches will be officiated by panel umpires. Player of the match award will be given by HPCA.
Organizing Chairman cum Director of Turning Point, Vijay Sharma said that this league will be organized on the lines of IPL. The matches will be organized on league basis. The format of the match will be 20-20. Man of the Match award will be given every day. Apart from this, the winning and runner-up teams will get personal prizes along with glittering trophies. Also, this time some special prizes will also be given. Awards will be given for Best Bowler, Best Batsman and Man of the League, Best Wicketkeeper, Best Fielder, and Emerging Player.
He said that we had successfully organized three editions and the prize distribution was organized in a separate ceremony. Veteran players, coaches and others are honored in this ceremony.
