Patna: The Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) will organise the Paritosh Dayal Memorial Champions Trophy Under-13 Inter School Cricket Tournament from May 8 at the CAB Ground located at the Moinul Haq Stadium. This information was given by CAB Director Amikar Dayal.
He said that 12 teams will be given entry in this tournament. The teams will be divided into four groups. The matches will be played on league cum knock out basis. Each team will get two matches each in the league. The top team from each pool will advance to the semi-finals.
He said that for the successful conduct of the tournament, coach Mukesh Kumar has been made the organising secretary. The winning and runner-up teams of this tournament will be given individual prizes apart from the gleaming trophy. Along with this, Man of the Match award will be given every day. Along with this, many awards including Player of the Tournament, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder will be given. Players will have to bring the birth certificate and Aadhaar card for age verification during each match.
