Patna: Under the banner of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, Simrikh Devi Prize Money Inter School Under-16 Cricket Tournament will be held in Patna from May 10. This information was given by Santosh Tiwari, Secretary of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. He informed that 24 school teams will get permission to play in this tournament.
He said that Neeraj Kumar has been made the organising chairman and Naveen Kumar has been made the convenor of the tournament.
Organising chairman Neeraj Kumar said that two matches will be played daily and it will be of 25-25 overs. Arrangements have been made for soft drinks and refreshments for the players. Players will be given attractive prizes.
Tournament convenor Naveen Kumar said that interested teams can contact on 9386962380 by May 8 with the school application forwarded by their principal. Santosh Tiwari, general secretary of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, said that Aadhaar card and Municipal Corporation’s birth certificate will have to be brought along by the players during the match.
