Patna: Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) trainee Akash Raj has been called by the BCCI for the Under-23 High Performance Camp to be held in Puducherry. Significantly, Akash Raj was the captain of the Under-25 Bihar team. The camp will start on May 30 and will continue until June 18.
Akash Raj led the Bihar team with a stellar performance in the Men’s Under-25 A Trophy. He scored 344 runs in seven matches. The highest score is 92 runs, including three half centuries.
Akash Raj finished fourth in the All India Batting Rankings in the Col. CK Nayudu Trophy Days tournament. Akash Raj scored a total of 827 runs in 13 innings in seven matches. Akash Raj scored four centuries and one half-century. His personal highest score was 201 not out.
