Patna: Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority Raveendran Sankaran felicitated the Bihar junior girls ball badminton team at Patliputra Sports Complex on Wednesday. The Bihar team recently returned Patna after winning the bronze medal at 67th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship held in Murtijapur (Maharashtra).
Giving this information, secretary of Bihar Ball Badminton Association Gouri Shankar said that the DG BSSA Raveendran Sankaran specially appreciated Vandana Kumari, who received the “Star Player of India” award of the championship, along with the performance of the girls’ ball badminton team.
He congratulated players, coach and manager of the team. He also assured the team members of providing tracksuit.
