Bihar bag 53 medals including 15 gold in National Jujutsu Championship

Patna: In the National Jujutsu Championship held in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh recently, players from Bihar won 53 medals, including 15 gold, 13 silver and 25 bronze medals. In the National championship, 1900 players from 27 states participated.

Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority Raveendran Sankaran, Secretary Pankaj Raj felicitated players from Patna, Gaya, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Khagaria and other districts who represented Bihar in the Jujutsu championship. On the occasion, president of Bihar Jujutsu Association Vinay Kumar Singh, coach Satish Kumar, Chandni Kumari, Kundan Kumar and other office bearers were present.

Medal winners: Gold: 94kg: Vivek Bhardwaj, 66kg: Aman Yadav, 50kg: Shriom, Vishnu, 56kg: Sanoj, 41kg: Abhishek, 45kg: Devraj, 40kg: Manav, Prince, 25kg: Radhika , 34kg : Chotu, 47kg : Neelam, 38kg : Prithvi, Silver : 77kg : Vijay, 60kg : Naman Yadav, 45kg : Pritam, 27kg : Saksham, 40kg : Manav, 25kg : Radhika, 35 Bronze: 57kg: Abhilasha Kumari, 60kg: Shabnam, 52kg: Amar, 38kg: Rupesh, 52kg : Tannupriya, 60kg : Nisha, 52kg : Khushi, 65kg : Aanchal, 15kg : Nandini, 32kg : Vishal, 22kg : Sakshi, 60kg : Mohammad Afridi, 48kg : Priyam, 42kg : Gulshan.
