Patna: Flamboyant batter Yashita Singh of Bihar has been selected for the Women’s Under-19 T20 Challenger Trophy to be organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Yashita Singh has been selected for Team D. A total of four teams will play in this tournament to be held in Goa from November 1. Yashita Singh has been selected on the basis her performance in the Women’s Under-19 T20 Trophy. Yashita Singh scored a total of 222 runs in 6 matches with the help of one century. His personal best was 138 not out.
On the selection of Yashita, Bihar Cricket Association president Rakesh Tiwari, vice president Dilip Singh, secretary Amit Kumar and treasurer Ashutosh Nandan Singh congratulated her and wished her bright future.
