Patna: Prince Yadav from Bihar’s Katihar district won a bronze medal in the 80-kg free style category of the National U-17 Wrestling Championship being held in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh.
Prince defeated a Uttar Pradesh wrestler 10-0 while in the second match he defeated a Telangana wrestler and in the third match he defeated a Jammu Kashmir wrestler. He won the bronze medal defeating a Karnataka wrestler.
Bihar State Sports Authority director general Raveendran Sankaran and president of Bihar Wrestling Association Vishal Singh congratulated Prince.
