Bihar taekwondo teams leave for Cuttack

Patna:  The 36th National Sub-Junior Kyorugi and 11th Sub-Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championship will be held in Cuttack from March 24 to March 27. To participate in the championship, Bihar boys’ and girls’ teams left for Cuttack on Thursday.

This information was given by Samta Rahi, joint secretary of Bihar Taekwondo Association. He said that the team’s training camp was organised from March 15 to March 22 at the Taekwondo Hall of the Sports Authority of India. This training camp was completed under the supervision of two NIS trainers Vipul Kumar Singh and Vivek Prakash under the leadership of C Someshwar Rao, Centre Superintendent of Sports Authority of India.

Teams:

Kyorugi boys: Piyush Kumar, Mohd Arshad, Abhiraj Nayak, Ankush Kumar, Tashik Sabbir, Udit Kumar, Ayush Kumar, Ratnesh Kumar, Himanshu, Vishwajeet, Rohit Malakar.

Kyorugi Girls: Karishma, Sandhya, Sheetal, Suhani, Vandana, Varsha, Simran, Ritika Raj, Saiba Rajesh, Deeksha Shree, Chahat Priya

Poomsae: Adesh Raj, Dev Raj, Saloni, Ayush Kumar.
