Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the Intermediate (12th) results for 2025 today during a joint press conference chaired by Board Chairman Anand Kishore and Education Minister Sunil Kumar. According to the released results, approximately 86.5% of students have passed this year.
A stream-wise breakdown shows that 82.75% of students passed in the Arts stream, 94.77% in Commerce, and 89.59% in Science.
This year, Priya Jaiswal secured the top position in the Science stream with 484 marks, becoming the state topper. Students also delivered outstanding performances in the Commerce and Arts streams.
BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore stated that, for the seventh consecutive year, Bihar has been the first in the country to declare Intermediate results. Lakhs of students from all three major streams participated in the Bihar Board examinations. With this impressive outcome, the BSEB has reinforced its strong reputation in education while maintaining its tradition of swift result declarations.

Science:
- Priya Jaiswal (West Champaran) – 484 marks
2. Akash Kumar (Arwal) – 480 marks
3. Ravi Kumar (Patna) – 478 marks
Commerce:
- Roshni Kumari – 475 marks
2. Khushi – 473 marks
3. Srishti Kumari & Nishant Raj – 471 marks
Arts:
1.Ankita Kumar & Saqib Shah (jointly) – 473 marks
2. Anushka Kumari & Rubaiya Fatima – 471 marks
3. Three students – 470 marks
Passing Percentage 2025:
- Arts: 82.75%
- Commerce: 94.77%
- Science: 89.66%
- Overall Pass Percentage: 86.50%
