Bihar Kho-Kho Camp for Khelo India Youth Games Begins in Munger

Patna: Bihar Kho-Kho Boys and Girls Coaching Camp for Khelo India Youth Games 2025 is being organised by the Bihar State Sports Authority, under the supervision of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, at the Indoor Stadium, Munger, from April 12 to May 3, 2025.

On Saturday, Munger Sadar SDO Shailendra Kumar Singh inaugurated the camp by breaking a coconut. Kho-Kho Association of Bihar General Secretary Neeraj Kumar Pappu was present as the special guest.

The stage proceedings were conducted by Munger District Kho-Kho Association Secretary Harimohan Singh. Vaishali District Kho-Kho Association Secretary Amit Kumar and Lakhisarai District Kho-Kho Association Secretary Amit Kumar were also present on the occasion.

In this training camp, boys and girls from various districts—including Munger, Bhagalpur, Lakhisarai, Banka, Patna, Jamui, West Champaran, Vaishali, Gopalganj, and over a dozen other districts—are participating.

Munger Sadar SDO and the Munger district administration encouraged all players by providing every possible facility and support for the event.

Kho-Kho Association of Bihar General Secretary Neeraj Kumar Pappu spoke about career opportunities in the game of Kho-Kho, the current developments in the sport, and the benefits available to players. He assured continued support for the promotion of the game and its players.

Principal Assistant Manish Kumar, Clerk Rishi Kumar, and Sanjay Kumar from the Munger District Sports Office, along with Kho-Kho Association of Bihar representatives Subhash Kumar Patel, Sunil Kumar, and Munna Kumar, were also present.

In the coaching camp, all players are being trained with a focus on skills development, understanding the form of the game, and learning advanced techniques to enhance their performance.
