Patna: Rajendra Prasad Yadav, Assistant Secretary of the Bihar Football Association, Treasurer and former Referee of the Patna Football Association, passed away this evening at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna. A respected figure in football administration, Yadav had also served as President and Secretary of the Patna Football Association, leaving a lasting legacy in sports management.
His demise has deeply saddened the entire Bihar Football Association, including referees, coaches, and players of the Patna Football Association. Leading figures in Bihar’s sports community, including Abdul Bari Siddiqui, President of the Bihar Olympic Association, and Mushtaq Ahmed, Secretary of the Bihar Olympic Association, joined others in offering their condolences.
Prasanjit Mehta, President of the Bihar Football Association, Syed Imtiaz Hussain, Secretary, and other prominent members, including Manoj Kumar Sharma, Rameshwar Rai, Manoj Kumar, Satyendra Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Pradeep Kumar Doctor, Ravindra Prasad Singh, Intezaar Ul Haq, Mohammad Khatib Ahmed, Rakesh Prakash Singh, and Ajgar Hussain, also expressed their grief.
Former officials, including Jwala Prasad and Kaushal Kishore Singh, remembered Yadav for his invaluable contributions to Bihar football.
