Patna: Bihar defeated Pondicherry by 14-00 in their first match in the Junior National Football Championship for Dr BC Roy Trophy played on Friday in Nagaon Assam.
For Bihar, Daniel Chaure scored 6 goals in the 29th, 36th, 47th, 53th, 58th and 91st minutes of the game. Aman Kumar scored three goals in the 27th, 81st and 88th minutes while Mohammad Afroz Alam scored three goals in the 16th, 63rd and 66th minutes. Sagar Kumar Sharma scored in the 23rd minute and Mohammad Javed Hussain scored in the 46th minute for Bihar.
Bihar will play its next match against Rajasthan on August 4 and against Telangana on August 6.
