Patna: As per the instructions of the Ball Badminton Federation of India, the special general body meeting of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association will be held on August 20 at Hotel Maitreya Inn, Boring Road, Patna. In the meeting, the election of the executive committee for the session-2023-27 will be held.
Giving this information, Bihar Ball Badminton Association Secretary Gouri Shankar said that the notification for the election of the four-year executive committee will be issued on Monday. In the meeting of the Executive Committee of Bihar Ball Badminton Association held today, it was also decided that inactive members of the association will not be allowed to participate in the elections as per the rules of the association.
Voting will be allowed to the members of the state executive committee including the president and secretary of 30 districts and associations recognized/registered with the Bihar Ball Badminton Association. Along with the notification, the voter list will also be published on Monday.
President of Bihar Ball Badminton Association-cum-Senior Member of Bihar Legislative Council, Prof Nawal Kishore Yadav said that the Ball Badminton Federation of India, and Art, Culture and Youth Department of Bihar have been requested to send observer for the election. The election will be conducted under the supervision of the senior advocate of Patna High Court.
