Patna: The 32nd Senior Wushu National (Men/Women) Championship was successfully organised from June 26 to July 1 at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Balewadi, Pune, Maharashtra.
In the championship, Bihar Wushu senior team performed well and got one gold and three bronze medals. Bihar team reached Patna on Monday (July 3). Patna’s Sonali Kumari got a bronze medal by performing well in Wushu’s Taolu dual event. Isha Mishra of Muzaffarpur won one gold and one bronze medal and Ameesha of Buxar captured one bronze medal.
President of Patna Wushu Association, Dr. B. Priyam, Chief Patron of the association, Dr. Amulya Kumar Singh, General Secretary, Suraj Kumar , Someshwar Rao Chavan, Incharge, SAI STC Centre Patna, Anand Baghela, Coach, STC Patna, Prakash Kumar, Executive Member of Patna District Wushu Association and other office bearers congratulated the player for their achievement.
