Patna: Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) President Rakesh Kumar Tiwari attended the BCCI Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Bangalore, where he congratulated BCCI Secretary Jay Shah on his appointment as Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The BCA President praised Shah for his energetic work as Secretary, noting that his efforts will be remembered in the future. He expressed hope that Shah’s tenure as ICC Chairman would be equally successful, stating: “The way you have accomplished numerous tasks as an energetic Secretary will be remembered in the future. We all hope your forthcoming tenure as Chairman of the ICC will be a golden chapter.”
Tiwari further commended Shah’s contributions to cricket, particularly in enhancing player facilities and match fees, developing resources for state associations, and simplifying various aspects of the sport through the use of advanced technology.
