Patna: A 20-member women’s team from Hockey Bihar set off for Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Sunday to compete in the 14th Hockey India Junior Women’s National Championship 2024. The tournament will be held from 20th September to 12th October.
Hockey Bihar has been placed in a group alongside Odisha and Bengal, with their opening match scheduled against Odisha on 2nd October. Shravan Kumar, President of Hockey Bihar and Bihar’s Rural Development Minister, conveyed his best wishes to the team, urging the players to maintain discipline and give their best effort on the field.
