Patna: Ashutosh Aman will lead a 15-member Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022-23 organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), at different venues across the country, according to BCA website.
Sakibul Gani has been named vice-captain of the team. The BCA portal said that the players and support staff were been selected for the first two matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Team: Ashutosh Aman (captain), Sakibul Gani (vice-captain), Babul Kumar, Mangal Mahrour, Sachin Kumar Singh, Bipin Saurabh (WK), Abhijeet Saket , Anuj Raj , Veer Pratap Singh, Suryavansh , Harsh Vikram Singh, Shivam S Kumar, Raghuvendra Pratap Singh, Malay Raj and Vikash Ranjan (WK).
Support Staff: Head Coach – Pawan Kumar; Assistant Coach – Sanjay Kumar; Physiotherapist – Hemendu Kumar; S&C Coach – Akhilesh Shukla; Team Manager – Pawan Kumar Singh (Name given by BCA) Assistant Manager – S.P. Narottam (Name given by BCA)
Selected players and support staff have ben instructed to contact team manager for next course of action, the portal said.
Meanwhile, the BCA has also announced a list of 31 reserved players, who may participate in the rest of the matches of Vijay Hazare trophy 2022-2023 and who will report directly as additional selected players in upcoming Ranji Trophy Camp of BCA 2022-2023.
