Patna: Rest of Shahabad Zone, batting first after winning the toss in the BCA U-19 Super League match being played at Sadishopur ground in Patna, were all out after scoring 382 runs in 87.1 overs against Purnia thanks to Anubhav’s brilliant 147 runs. Anuj Madhyam of Purnia claimed six wickets. By the end of the first day’s play, Purnia’s scored 12 runs for one wicket.
Batting for Rest of Shahabad Zone in this match, Anubhav Singh scored 147 runs in 161 balls with the help of 20 fours and one six. Apart from Anubhav Singh, Prakash Kumar contributed 78 runs, Vishal Kumar scored 43 runs, Devansh Ashwal scored 41 runs and Sant Kumar Singh scored contributed 30 runs for their team.
Apart from Anuj’s six wickets, Amir Masood took 3 and Md Sajid took one wicket for Purnia.
Purnia team’s opening batsman Moksh Raj, who came to bat, was bowled by Aryan Patel after scoring one run in 11 balls. Till the end of the first day’s play, Abu Bakar was unbeaten on 10 runs, while Sumit Pal was yet to open his account.
