Patna: Bihar pair of Ishant Raj and Md Ashadullah entered the quarterfinals of boys doubles event beating the Mizoram combination of Rohmighua HT and Lalragwngbawla 21-17 and 21-10 in the Yonex-Sunrise 34th Sub-Junior National Badminton Championship 2022 (Under 13 Boys & Girls) in Lucknow on Monday.
The Bihar combination of Ishant Raj and Md Ashadullah faced tough fight to win the first set 21-17 against their Mizoram rivals. But in the second set, Bihar pair won the second set easily at 21-10.
Singles challenges in boys and girls’ sections from Bihar had ended on Sunday.
