Bhagalpur: Stage Set for PM Narendra Modi’s Visit on February 24

Bhagalpur: Stage is all set for scheduled visit of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi in Bhagalpur on February 24. PM on official visit here would participate in Kisan Samman Sabha at local aerodrome field.

PM who would be addressing Kisan Samman Sabha, will release 19th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for farmers of country on the occasion.

Approximately Rs 20000 crore would be transferred to respective bank and postal accounts of beneficiaries of Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by PM.

As per information of the total amount that would be transferred to the beneficiaries by PM nearly 1600 crore would be transferred to Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiaries of Bihar.

The Kissan Samman Nidhi instalment would be transferred to altogether nine crore farmers of country by PM on the occasion. Some major announcements are expected on the occasion by PM.

Apart from chief minister Nitish Kumar number of central ministers including Shivraj Singh Chouhan, union minister of agriculture and farmers welfare are scheduled to participate in Kisan Samman Sabha.

Taking into consideration possible huge turnout of people to hear PM, elaborate arrangements have been made in aerodrome field. Sitting arrangements of more than 45000 people have been made at venue of Sabha.

Apart from farmers, people in general from different districts are expected to participate in large number in PM’s meeting. Meanwhile security arrangements have been beefed up in city, in light of PM’s visit.
