Patna:Basawan Park Cricket Academy stormed into the final of the Super Challenger Under-13 cricket tournament while YCC Sports Academy entered the semi-finals at Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) ground here on Friday.
In the first semi-final, Basawan Park Cricket Academy beat Shivam Public School by 139 runs while YCC Sports Academy beat Cricket Academy of Patna by 21 runs.
Shivam Public School won the toss and decided to field first. Asked to bat first, Basawan Park Cricket Academy scored 162 runs for 6 wickets in 25 overs. In reply, the Shivam Public School could manage to score only 23 runs off 12.5 overs. The man of the match award was given away by coach Mukesh Kumar to Prakash of the winning team.
In the fourth quarterfinal, YCC Sports Academy won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, YCC Sports Academy scored 112 runs in 21.4 overs for the loss of all wickets. In reply, Cricket Academy of Patna were all out for 91 runs in 17.1 overs. The man of the match award was given to Sushant of YCC by Rahul Kumar.
