Gopalganj post second consecutive win in Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket

Vaishali: Gopalganj registered its second consecutive win in the Western Zone of Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket Tournament. Gopalganj defeated East Champaran by 6 wickets. This is East Champaran’s second defeat in three matches.

In the match played at JP Sinha Stadium in Vaishali, East Champaran won the toss and, batting first, scored 137 runs after losing all the wickets in 44.2 overs. Prince Kumar scored 31 runs. For Gopalganj, Mehndi Abdullah took four wickets for 20 runs.

In reply, Gopalganj won the match by scoring 138 runs for four wickets in 27 overs. Vishal Yadav played an inning of 55 runs and Nitish Kumar Singh played an inning of 42 runs.

For East Champaran, Ayush Kumar Singh took two wickets for 27 runs.
