Green, Pink and Red set to reach semi-finals in Bihar Women’s Kho-Kho League

Patna: Green Giants, Pink Pioneers and Red Rangers are all set to reach the semi-finals of the Bihar Women’s Kho-Kho Premier League at St Mary’s School ground in Masaurhi near Patna on Sunday. Green Giants were currently on top with a total of 12 points from 7 matches while Red Rangers were at number two with 10 points from 6 matches. Pink Pioneers were also at number two with ten points from 6 matches.

Four matches were played in the morning session of the fourth day of this league, which is organised by Kho-Kho Association of Bihar. Red Rangers applied a brake on the victory march of red signal to the Green Giants.

In other matches, Pink Pioneers, Yellow Yoddhas and Golden Girls register victories.

In the first match played in the morning session, Golden Girls defeated White Warriors by an innings and 25 points. Renu scored 9 points and Aliya scored 8 points for Golden Girls. For White Warriors, Kajal scored 2 points while Shivani also scored 2 points.

In the second match, Red Rangers defeated Green Giants by two points. Muskaan scored 2 points for Red Rangers. Shaili Kumari scored 7 points while Ragini scored 3 points for Green Giants.

Yellow Yoddhas defeated Silver Stars 20-13. Ahuti scored 3 points and Delgany scored 2 points for the Yellow Warriors. Julie scored 5 points while Muskan Kumari scored 2 points for Silver Stars.

In the last match of the morning session, Pink Pioneers defeated Golden Girls 51-33. Mili Kumari scored 21 points and Pushpa Kumari scored 5 points for Pink Pioneers. Ashita Raj scored 12 points and Shobha scored 8 points for Golden Girls.

In the evening session matches played on Friday, Green Giants defeated White Warriors by an innings and 23 points, Red Rangers defeated Blue Blasters by an innings and 6 points and Green Giants defeated Pink Pioneers by an innings and 8 points.

On the fourth day, the matches were inaugurated by Sister Jyotsna, Sister Nilima and Neeraj Kumar Pappu, Secretary, Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
