Patna: Royal Challengers Bihar and Anshul Cricket Academy booked their berths in the semi-finals of the CAB Challenger Trophy Under-15 cricket tournament on Wednesday.
Royal Challengers Bihar defeated CAB Tigers by 45 runs and Anshul Cricket Academy defeated Lakshya Cricket Academy by three wickets in the first quarterfinal of the tournament being played at the Cricket Academy of Bihar Ground.
The first match was played between CAB Tiger and Royal Challenger. CAB Tiger won the toss and invited Royal Challengers to bat. Batting first, Royal Challengers scored 222 for four in 25 overs with the help of Mani Raj’s 103. In reply, CAB Tiger’s team got all out for 177 runs in 18.5 overs. Mani Raj of the winning team was given the player of the match award.
In the second match, Anshul Cricket Academy won the toss and invited Lakshya Cricket Academy to bat. Lakshya Cricket Academy scored 103 runs in 16.5 overs losing all wickets in the first game. In reply, Anshul Cricket Academy won the match by scoring 105 runs for seven wickets in 18.2 overs. Radheshyam of the winning team was given the player of the match award.
