Patna: Khellozz Inter-School Sports Festival will begin at Patliputra Sports Complex (Kankarbagh) here on November 5. On the lines of the Olympics, all the preparations have been completed for this mega sports festival being organized under the aegis of United Country Youths Federation.
Giving this information, federation CEO Hussain Akhtar said that the sports festival will be inaugurated at 11 am. Padmashree Dr RN Singh will be the chief guest of the inaugural function. Mrityunjay Tiwari (RJD spokesperson), Madhu Jha (Celebrity sports person), Avinash Singh (marketing head, Dabur India), Tarakeswar Dubey (zonal sales manager, Dabur Bihar Jharkhand), Dr Satyajit Kumar Singh (managing director, Ruban Group of Hospitals) and principals of all schools will be guests of honour at the opening function.
He said that the games will be held from November 5 to 14. Football, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis and track and field (100m, 200m, 4×100m, discus throw, shot put, high jump and log jump) events will be held, he added.
Khellozz spokesperson Suraj Kumar said that a total of more than 2500 boys and girls from 30 schools will participate in this sports festival. For the successful conduct of the sports festival, the entire team is engaged under the supervision of CEO Hussain Akhtar, which includes Suraj Kumar, Sunny Thakur, Chhavi, Sandeep Pandey, Dr. Subhash Krishna (Radio City), he added.
CEO Hussain Akhtar said that Khellozz is a non-profit company registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
