Patna: The Hundred Li Ning Future 10 Mini Bihar State Badminton Tournament concluded on Sunday at the Physical College Hall in Rajendra Nagar, Patna, showcasing remarkable performances by young talents.
In the girls’ Under-7 singles category, Prisha Khanna of Muzaffarpur emerged victorious, defeating Zahra Khan of Nalanda 21-2, 21-16 in a commanding display of skill. The boys’ Under-7 singles title went to Vansh Raj of Patna, who secured a dominant win over Veer Verma of Patna, 21-3, 21-0.
The Under-9 singles categories saw competitive matches. In the girls’ section, Aarya Rai of Patna defeated Prisha Khanna of Muzaffarpur 21-7, 21-9 to claim the title. In the boys’ section, Vansh Raj continued his winning streak, defeating Rudra Kumar of Muzaffarpur 21-9, 21-16 to secure the championship.
In the Under-11 singles, Sejal Singh of Muzaffarpur outclassed Arisha Manir of Gaya 21-12, 21-6 to lift the girls’ title. Meanwhile, Amol Kumar of Patna triumphed over Krishlay Kumar of Patna, winning 21-13, 21-12 in the boys’ category.
The event, organised by the Bihar Badminton Association, witnessed the participation of approximately 125 boys and girls aged 9 to 11, showcasing their talents with exceptional energy and enthusiasm. Secretary of the association, K.N. Jaiswal, presided over the prize distribution ceremony, where trophies and awards were presented to the top four finishers in each category.
The tournament celebrated the budding talent in Bihar, providing young players with a platform to demonstrate their potential and passion for badminton. The matches were marked by competitive spirit, promising a bright future for the sport in the state.
