Yogi govt offers employment bonanza to the youths of Kanpur and Bulandshahr through GBC 4.0

To provide 2.5 lakh jobs in Kanpur, 70,000 in Bulandshahr & 14,000 in Gautam Budh Nagar in private industrial park, digital doctors’ clinic, & real estate sector respectively

Lucknow: Through the Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 4.0), the Yogi government, with implementation of investment proposals worth over Rs 10 lakh crore, seeks to create 34 lakh jobs across the state, with a sizeable number in tier 2/3 cities like Kanpur and Bulandshahr.

According to the obtained figures, the private industrial park planned in Kanpur Nagar alone is expected to provide employment to 2.5 lakh people. Similarly, the investment in the digital doctor clinic by the Obdu Group in Bulandshahr will create jobs for around 70,000 people. Likewise, several other districts are also gearing up to create employment on a vast scale through significant projects.

On February 19, the Yogi government unveiled more than 14,000 projects worth over 10 lakh crores at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. This included the ‘bhumi-poojan’ for a private industrial park in Kanpur Nagar. The project, initiated through Mega Leather Cluster Development (U.P.) Ltd., involves an investment of Rs 5850 crores.

Once the Private Industrial Park project is completed, it is expected to provide employment to around 2.5 lakh people in Kanpur Nagar. In terms of employment, this figure is the highest in GBC 4.0. Notably, in Kanpur Nagar, a total of 408 companies are investing Rs 25,339 crores in various projects, creating job opportunities for thousands.”

Similarly, Obdu Group, through its subsidiary Obdu Digital Health Ltd., is establishing Artificial Intelligence-based Village Health Centers in several cities across the state. These Village Health Centers will function as digital doctor clinics, offering a range of health facilities to patients present through telemedicine with the presence of an employee. The initiative with an estimated cost of Rs 3350 crores will provide employment to more than 70,000 people.

After Bulandshahr, this project will be implemented in several other districts, such as Lucknow, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Gonda, Bahraich, Kannauj, Kanpur, Sitapur, Hardoi, Raebareli, Mirzapur, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Shahjahanpur, Banda, Hamirpur, Pratapgarh, Bhadohi, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, and Gorakhpur. The group is investing approximately Rs 10,000 crores on this initiative, aiming to provide direct or indirect employment to around 1.90 lakh people across the state.

A significant number of people will find employment opportunities in the real estate sector as well with the M4M India Pvt. Ltd. establishing a real estate and commercial project worth Rs 7,500 crores in Gautam Buddh Nagar, which will generate employment for 14,000 individuals. Gautam Buddh Nagar is a favorite destination for investors in the real estate sector.

Similarly, Prateek Realtors India Pvt. Ltd. is working on a mixed-use real estate project in Ghaziabad with an investment of Rs 2,600 crores, which will create over 5,000 jobs in the region. Chitra Realcon Pvt. Ltd. is also investing Rs 500 crores in a real estate and commercial project in Ghaziabad, creating job opportunities for 5,000 people.

The following ventures will also provide a large number of jobs

– In Gautam Buddh Nagar, Air India SATS Airport Services Pvt. Ltd. is establishing an Air Cargo Terminal at Jewar International Airport at the cost of Rs 4,000 crores, which will create employment opportunities for 5,000 people.

– In Mathura, Keshav Publications Pvt. Ltd. is starting a manufacturing and publishing unit for stationery goods, electric items, and plastic products with an investment of 1,250 crores, which will create jobs for 10,000 individuals.

– Designo Pvt. Ltd. in Moradabad is setting up a handicraft and toys manufacturing and export unit worth Rs 800 crore, providing employment for 10,000 people.

– Similarly, Torrent Power Ltd. is establishing a 24-megawatt solar power project in Sonbhadra with an investment of Rs 13,200 crores, generating employment for around 5,000 people in the region.
