Patna: Thanks to the brilliant display of Vineet (five wickets) and Ashish (66 runs), YMCC started its league campaign on winning note defeating Civil Audit by ten wickets in Patna District Senior Division Cricket League, organised by PDCA ad-hoc committee on Thursday.
Civil Audit won the toss and decided to bat first. The Civil Audit were out for 106 runs in 27.5 overs in the stipulated 40 overs match. Mohammad Rafi scored maximum 29 runs. Vineet took five wickets for 33 runs for YMCC.
In reply, YMCC scored 108 for no loss in 11.2 overs with the help of Ashish’s unbeaten 66 to win the match by ten wickets. Amit Kumar scored 30 not out. YMCC’s Vineet was awarded the player of the match award by umpires Sunil Kumar and Jasim Ahmed.
