Patna: The YCC Challenger Trophy cricket tournament got off to a great start on Thursday at the YCC Cricket Academy at the Shakha Ground in Rajendra Nagar here. YCC Blue won the inaugural match. YCC Blue defeated YCC Orange by five wickets. The tournament was inaugurated by SK Choubey, Director of Ratnakar Vidyapeeth.
YCC Orange won the toss and batting first scored 135 runs losing all the wickets in 16.2 overs. In reply, YCC Blue won the match by scoring 137 runs for five wickets in 16.5 overs. Ankitanshu Sumit (4 runs, 3 wickets) was declared the player of the match.
