YBCC Gaya, Raju XI win in Randhir Verma U-15 Cricket

Patna: YBCC Gaya beat State Coaching Centre by 65 runs in the first match of the Randhir Verma Under-15 Cricket Championship at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Tuesday.

State Coaching Centre won the toss and decided to field first. Put in to bat, YBCC Gaya scored 187 runs in 25 overs. For YBCC Gaya, Ayush scored 43 runs with the help of 9 boundaries, Chandan scored 30 runs with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. Divyanshu scored 29 runs with the help of 5 fours and Amit scored 21 runs with the help of 5 fours. State Coaching Centre bowler Guddu took 3 wickets giving away 29 runs and Hemant took 2 wickets giving away 33 runs. Mr extra contributed 25 runs.

In reply, the team of State Coaching Centre could manage to score only 122 runs after losing 10 wickets. Ankit scored 38 runs with the help of two fours and four sixes, while Rohit scored 16 runs. Chandan took 3 wickets by giving away 31 runs, Srikanth took 3 wickets by giving away 21 runs, Anand took 2 wickets by giving away 13 runs and Nitish took one wicket. Chandan was adjudged Man of the Match.

In the second match, Raju XI beat Sri Ram Khel Maidan by 9 wickets. Sri Ram Khel Maidan won the toss and elected to bat. Sri Ram Khel Maidan scored 101 runs. Vivek scored 17 runs with the help of three fours, Abhijeet scored 15 runs with the help of two fours and Avinash scored 13 runs with the help of a six and a four. Sumit took 16/2, Naveen took 10/2, Arwan took 12/1 and Abhishek took 8/1 wickets.

In reply, Raju’s XI’s scored 102 runs losing one wicket in 10.5 overs. Rohit scored 59 runs with the help of 10 fours and one six. Aryan scored 13 runs with the help of three fours and a six. Rohit was named man of the match.
