Patna: VGU Thunderbolt and Baddi Fighters won their respective matches played on Saturday, March 29 in the Casa Picolla School Cricket League Under-15 Season-5 being played under the aegis of Turning Point. VGU Thunderbolt defeated JIS Jabanj by 109 runs and Baddi Fighters defeated Aanjikya Bombers by 5 wickets.
In the first match played at Krishna Cricket Ground (Khemnichak), VGU Thunderbolt won the toss and batting first scored 178 runs for two wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sarthak Kumar (54 runs) and Sanku Sharma (52 runs) played half-century innings.
In reply, JIS Jabanj were all out for 69 runs in 13.1 overs in front of the excellent bowling of VGU Thunderbolt. Sanku Sharma (52 runs, 1 wicket) of the winning team was awarded the Spectra Flyash Player of the Match award by the organising secretary Naveen Kumar.
In the second match, Aanjikya Bombers won the toss and batting first scored 155 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Shubh Shlok scored 61, Aniket Prakash scored 43 runs.
In reply, Baddi Fighters scored 158 runs for 5 wickets in 17.2 overs and won the match. Abhinav Sinha scored 85 runs. Abhinav Sinha of the winning team was awarded the Spectra Flyash Player of the Match award by the organising secretary Naveen Kumar.
