Lucknow: In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of state’s economic and industrial development, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is organizing a mega e-auction to boost economic and industrial development in various industrial regions across the state.

It is worth noting that the Uttar Pradesh government has prepared a detailed roadmap to keep the state on the path of progress, and all industrial development authorities in the state are working in this direction.

This mega e-auction places significant emphasis on both key industrial zones and previously overlooked areas. Spanning two phases, this auction is anticipated to attract bids worth crores for a total of 167 plots.

The auction process includes bidding for land in industrial areas of specific districts. The districts expected to participate in the auction process include Jhansi, Ghaziabad, Amethi, Ayodhya, Aligarh, Bareilly, Sambhal, Hamirpur, Shahjahanpur, Mathura, Baghpat, Hapur, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Hardoi, Agra, Kanpur, Trans Ganga City Unnao, Etah, Barabanki, and Meerut.

Auction process will be completed in two phases

The mega e-auction process, to be conducted by UPSIDA, is divided into two phases. The initial phase, slated for November 20, will witness the e-auction for the allocation of 114 industrial plots. Subsequently, during the second phase on November 29, bidding will be conducted for 53 industrial and commercial plots, with expectations of generating bids worth crores.

A distinctive aspect of the mega e-auction is the promotion of various plot categories. On one hand, there will be bidding for small plots of 200 square meters, while on the other hand, a sizable industrial plot of 62474.70 square meters in Shahjahanpur will be auctioned.

Notably, the industrial plot in Shahjahanpur, located in the G.C. Industrial Area under the supervision of the Bareilly Regional Office, is considered the largest plot in this auction process. It has a reserved price of Rs 8.88 crores. This plot is regarded as the second most expensive in the entire auction process.

Bidding will be held for setting up petrol-CNG pump in Trans Ganga City, Unnao

The plot with the highest reserved price in the mega e-auction is located in Sector 1 of the industrial area in Trans Ganga City, Unnao. This plot will be used for setting up a petrol-CNG pump, and due to its prime location, it will prove to be a significant commercial activity-related plot.

It is noteworthy that this e-auction has a special focus on promoting industrial activities in Bundelkhand. For this purpose, under the mega e-tendering process, a total of 16 plots will be auctioned in various industrial areas under the supervision of the Jhansi Regional Office (of which Hamirpur’s Sumerpur Industrial Area, Jalaun and Orai are prominent).

Similarly, in the Agra zone, bids will be invited for 38 plots in the Kosi Kotwan Industrial Area in Mathura and one plot in Mainpuri. Moreover, 10 plots in the Aligarh region, 8 plots in the Bareilly zone, one plot in Prayagraj’s Naini, 16 plots in the Lucknow zone (including Sandila Industrial Area and Agro Park of Barabanki), 10 plots in the Aligarh zone, 5 plots in Ghaziabad, and 16 industrial plots in the Kanpur zone will be auctioned.
