UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate PepsiCo’s GIDA unit on September 29

Gorakhpur, September 28 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inaugurate PepsiCo’s GIDA (Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority) unit, operated by M/s Varun Beverages, PepsiCo’s largest franchisee and manufacturer, on Sunday. This facility marks a significant milestone for the global soft drink brand.

M/s Varun Beverages has invested Rs 1,071 crore to establish PepsiCo’s unit in Sector 27 of GIDA. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone on April 8, 2023. Remarkably, construction was completed within a year, and commercial production began in April 2024. The facility has already provided employment to 1,500 people. CM Yogi will officially inaugurate the unit on Sunday, September 29.

CM to also inaugurate newly constructed rooms in Mewalal Gupta Gurukul Vidyalaya

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also inaugurate four newly constructed rooms and a multipurpose auditorium in Mewalal Gupta Gurukul Vidyalaya, Gorakhnath on September 29 (Sunday). These rooms have been constructed by Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA).

CM will attend Bhaiji Hanuman Prasad Poddar’s birth anniversary celebrations

As part of his Gorakhpur visit, CM Yogi will participate in the celebrations marking the 132nd birth anniversary of Bhaiji Hanuman Prasad Poddar at Geeta Vatika on Sunday. In addition to paying tribute to Bhaiji, he will address the Shraddhaarchan Sabha at the event. The program is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
