Patna: Under the aegis of Turning Point, the colorful jerseys for the teams and officials of the Casa Picolla School Cricket Under-15 League, to be held from March 22, were unveiled in a grand function at the Casa Picolla restaurant in Patna on Sunday.
As many as 12 teams namely GNIOT Blasters, Rungta Bombers, RIT Champions, DBUU Bombers, HIT Knightriders, JIS Jabanj, Oxford Super Kings, BBIT Thunderbolt, JBIT Changers, Manav Rachna Lions, Sanskriti Dabangg and Geeta Fighters will participate in the league.
Teams’ jerseys were jointly unveiled by Turning Point Director Vijay Sharma, Casa Picolla’s Rajesh Sharma, convener Sumit Sharma, Co-convener Naveen Kumar, Sports Promoter Rajshekhar, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University’s Ashwini Sharma, GNIOT’s Vivek Singh Gautam, RIT Roorkee’s Faizan Ahmed , Rojan Abbas of Haldia Institute of Technology, Armaan Abbas of JIS Group, Sudhanshu Kumar of Oxford Business College, Raju Mishra of Manav Rachna University, Aditya Singh of Sanskriti University, Sanjay Gupta of BBIT, Pooja Tiwari of Geeta University and Prem Ranjan of Arvind Mount Academy.
Convener of the league Sumit Sharma said that the matches will be conducted by the technical officials of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. All matches will be played with white ball. The balls are specially manufactured for this league. All preparations have been completed, he added.
