Patna: In the Dr. Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter School Cricket Tournament, hosted by the Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) at Moinul Haq Stadium, AK Cricket Academy claimed a 5-wicket victory over Lakshya Cricket Academy on Wednesday.
Lakshya Cricket Academy, having been invited to bat by AK Cricket Academy, struggled to build momentum and were bowled out for 74 runs in 16 overs. Shambhu top-scored with 18 runs, while Sumit of AK Cricket Academy delivered a match-winning performance with the ball, taking 3 wickets for just 15 runs.
In reply, AK Cricket Academy comfortably chased down the target, reaching 76 for the loss of 5 wickets in 10.5 overs. Amit contributed 15 runs to guide his team to victory. Sumit’s superb bowling effort earned him the Player of the Match award, presented by physio Kundan Kumar.
