Patna: The scheduled match of the Third Freedom Fighter Rajeshwar Rai Memorial School Cricket Tournament, sponsored by Anshul Homes, was not played on Tuesday due to rain. Instead, an exhibition match was played in which Star XI won.
Anshul Holmes scored 81 runs for 8 wickets in 15 overs after losing the toss and batting first. Saurabh scored 29, Sandeep scored 11, Sandesh scored 10 runs.
Sonu took two wickets for 8 runs, Ashish, Rohit, Santu, Raja and Rahul took one wicket each.
In reply, Star XI won the match by scoring 82 runs for 7 wickets in 9.5 overs. Rajeev scored 14 not out, Rohit scored 16, Raja scored 10 runs. Akash took 3 wickets for 28 runs, Sandeep took 3 for 14 and Saurabh took 1 for 18.
Rohit of the winning team was adjudged player of the match.
