St Karne’s High School Patna celebrates its annual function ‘Spectra 22’

Patna: A rainbow of colours unfurled on the stage as St. Karen’s High School celebrated its Annual Function — Spectra on Thursday (December 22, 2022). The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Arvind Kumar Mishra, Regional Officer, CBSE, Patna. School Principal Seema Singh welcomed the Chief Guest by presenting a bouquet.

The programme formally commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the eminent dignitaries. The prayer dance performed by the girls of Std. 7 & 8 glorified the Almighty and narrated how adversity can change into prosperity with His blessings.

The programme proceeded with the address of the Director DP Galstaun to the gathering and he enlightened them with his pearls of wisdom. The Guest of honour addressed the assemblage and praised the students for their effort and dedication. This was followed by the Annual report presentation of the Principal of the school Seema Singh.

In her address she presented the achievements of the students in various fields and also motivated the students to always look forward in life. Next followed a series of performances by the Tiny Tots of Std. 1 to 5 on the Theme — The Magical World of books which showcased that fairy tales are fabulous for their underlying messages that subtly mirror the triumph of virtues over vices and thus acquire a transcendental quality. The performances also took the audience on the magical journey of the evergreen tales and fables, which was like returning to the childhood days again.

Next was the performance given by the students of Std. 6 to 10 on the theme ‘Women Empowerment’ which showcased the success of women in every field, every dimension. The show glorified women for the struggle they went through and carved a niche for themselves with their sheer grit and determination.

Finally the programme concluded   with the Christmas   Carol   sung   by St. Karen’s High School Choir, spreading the message of peace and happiness.
