Bhagalpur, April 30, 2024: A recent marriage between son-in-law and mother-in-law in Hir Moti village of Chhatrapal panchayat in adjoining Banka district has once again established there is neither any specific definition nor governing law concerning love.
As per information the marriage in question which became a much talked about affair in the area was solemnized following approval of father-in-law of the bridegroom.
It is said Sikander Yadav, bridegroom, a resident of Dhuwani village under Katoria block of Banka district fell in love with his mother-in-law after death of his wife.
Sikander married with daughter of Dileswar Dharve (56) and Geeta Devi (46) lost his wife in recent past. He has a son and a daughter from his marriage with daughter of Dileswar and Geeta.
After death of his wife Sikander fell in love with his mother-in-law Geeta Devi. It was mutual attraction for each other which ultimately led to marriage between son-in-law and mother-in-law.
Though residents of the village in number of cases were not favourably disposed towards marriage between son-in-law and mother-in-law however Dileswar Dharve, father-in-law did needful for solemnizing marriage of his wife with his son-in-law after he became aware about their mutual attraction
The legal formalities of marriage of his wife with his son -in-law was completed at behest of Dharve, according to information.
