Sindhushree K of Tamil Nadu surges into lead in U-17 girls section of 12th National School Chess Championship

Patna: players of different age groups from all over India were battling on the chess board on the second day of the 12th National School Chess Championship at Gyan Bhavan auditorium here on Wednesday. Three rounds of the game completed today.

Today, in the auditorium of Gyan Bhawan, Commissioner Patna Bihar Kumar Ravi and Director General of Bihar Sports Authority Raveendran Sankaran had come as guests to encourage the players.

After the third round, the results of players of different age groups were as follows –

Under 07 open

Shivaay Singh of UP defeated Adhrita Mada WB playing with black pieces.

Under 7 Girls

Aranya of Tamil Nadu defeated Sai Ashrita of Andhra Pradesh playing with white pieces.

Under 9 open

Arit Kapil of Delhi defeated Rudra Neel Rai of Jharkhand playing with white pieces.

Under 9 girls

Kiana Parihar of Rajasthan defeated Radhya Malhotra of Punjab playing with black pieces.

Under 11 open

Chess 4

Playing on the first board, Andala Mala Hemal Varsham of Andhra Pradesh defeated Advik Praveen of Kerala playing with white pieces.

Under 11 girls

On the first board, Vedika Pal of Maharashtra defeated Deepthashree Ravi Ganesh playing with black pieces.

Under 13 open

On the first board, Nimay Agarwal of Haryana defeated Darsh Ilawadi of Delhi playing with black pieces.

Under 13 girls

Nivedita of Tamil Nadu also appeared on the first board, playing with black pieces, defeated Maitri Mandal West Bengal.

Under 15 open

On the first board, Sadbhar Rautela of Uttarakhand, playing with black pieces, defeated Vivaan Sachdev of Karnataka.

Under 15 girls

On the first board, Aadya Gupta of Delhi, playing with white pieces, defeated Durga Karthika of Leelapalli Telangana.
