Patna: Gujarat registered 4- wicket victory over Bihar in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 cricket tournament at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Saturday. Though Bihar lost the match but Bihar bowler Shakib Hussain won the heart bagging four wickets for 20 runs off two overs.
Gujarat won the toss and decided to field. Batting first, Bihar scored 161 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Mangal Mahrour top scored with 51 runs with the help of two fours and three sixes. Babul Kumar made q32 runs while Yashasvi Rishabh scored 35 runs.
For Gujarat CT Gaza took two wickets. In reply, Gujarat hit up the required runs for the loss of six wickets in 14 overs with the help of a brilliant 84 from Urvil Patel. PK Panchal made 29 and Priyesh played an important innings of 24 runs for Gujarat.
