Selection trial for Women’s Kho-Kho League Season 2 concludes

Patna: In collaboration with the Kho-Kho Association of Vaishali, on Sunday at the Cricket Academy of Raja XI, Hajipur, selection trials for the formation of teams to play in the second season of the Women’s Kho-Kho League, to be organised under the aegis of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, were organized. Hundreds of women players from different districts of the state participated in the trials.

Neeraj Kumar Pappu, General Secretary of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar was the chief guest. Rajeev Kumar Mehta (St. Joseph Sarai), Dr. Ashutosh Chandra (Lichchavi College Dighi), Raja Utsav Cricket Academy of Raja XI, Vishal Singh (Lakshya International), Suresh Kumar (Working President Kho-Kho Vaishali), Amit Kumar Singh (Working Secretary Kho-Kho Vaishali), Kumar Gautam (Working Treasurer Kho-Kho Vaishali), Vishwanath Singh (BD Buddha Hajipur), Awadhesh Chaurasia ( Maa Bharti School Chhatwara), Rajeev Kumar (P2 Residential School Madhopur), Dheeraj Kumar, Amarendra Kumar Amarenr, Harishankar Srivastava, Subodh Kumar Choudhary, Dheeraj Kumar were present on the occasion as guest of honour.

On this occasion, the General Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, Neeraj Kumar Pappu, said that to promote the Indian traditional Kho-Kho game at the grassroots level in Bihar, we are organising a talent search (grass root) programme through this platform so that by providing a platform to the talented players of the state, their talent can be honed. Last year, the Women’s Kho-Kho League was started by the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, which received a very good response among the public and players. Also, this time it was also announced to give lakhs of rupees as cash awards. The skill test of all the players was taken by the technical team of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
