Patna, August 5: The selection trials of Patna district boys and girls hockey teams which will take part in the State Level Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Boys and Girls Tournament will be held on August 8 at Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar ground here.
Giving this information, Patna District Sports Officer Om Prakash said that in this selection tournament, boys/girls below 17 years of age studying in middle School, secondary school and higher secondary school and the schools affiliated to CBSE and ICSE Board may participate with proper authority letters from the schools and sports kits.
The State Level Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Boys’ Under 17 Tournament will be held in Rohtas from August 9 to August 11 and Girls’ Under 17 Tournament will be held in Purnia from August 17 to August 19.
