Patna: SDV Public School, Kurthoul, defeated Mahavidha Global School, Phulwari Sharif, by 60 runs, and Win Academy defeated Talent Academy, Vairiya, by 46 runs in the 37th All India Sukhdeo Narain Inter School Cricket Tournament at Urja Stadium on Tuesday. With this win, both teams collected three points each.
Vikas Krishna of SDV Public School, who took 50 runs and five wickets, was given the man of the match award by Krishna Patel and Balwant, while Bijoy Kumar Narain Chunnu gave away the man of the match award to KRoshan of Win Academy, who took three wickets in the second match.
Batting first in today’s first match, SDV Public School scored 187 runs for 6 wickets in 25 overs, in which Abhishek scored 75 and Vikas Krishna made 50 runs. For Mahavidha Global School, Phulwari, Abhishek Kumar, and Lucky Kumar got two wickets each. In reply, Mahavidha Global School were all out for 127 runs. Vikas Krishna took five wickets for 17 runs.
Batting first in the second match, Win Academy School made 139 runs with contributions from Piyush, 25, Anuj, 24, and Faizal, 21. Akanshu bowled well to capture 5 wickets for 24 runs, while Harsh Raj took 2 wickets for 20 runs.
In reply, Talent Academy were all out for 93 runs. Roshan bagged three wickets for 21 runs, and Utkarsh also got three wickets for 15 runs. Manjeet (19), Gulsan (16 ) and Ayush Anand (13) were the notable contributors for Talent Academy.
