Patna: Former Indian stumper Syed Saba Karim and former India Youth Team captain Amikar Dayal are among the 43 former Ranji Trophy players of Patna to be honored in the Cricket Khel Samman ceremony organised by Anshul Homes on the eve of Khel Diwas (Sports Day). This information was jointly given by Arun Kumar Singh, former joint secretary of Patna District Cricket Association, president of the organising committee and Rahul Singh, director of Anshul Homes.

In this award ceremony, the players who played for Patna and also represented state and the country during their cricketing career will be honored. Apart from this, two budding players Yashasvi Shukla and Akash Kumar Singh will be felicitated on the occasion, they said. National cricketer Rupak Kumar is the convener of the entire programme and preparations are in full swing under his supervision.
