Patna: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is visiting Bihar on April 7. During this time, he will join Kanhaiya Kumar’s ‘Palayan Roko Naukri Do’ Yatra. The purpose of this yatra is to highlight the employment problems of the youth in Bihar and to put pressure on the government to stop migration from the state. This yatra will reach Begusarai district, where Rahul Gandhi will also participate.
Large-scale preparations are being made in Begusarai for Rahul Gandhi’s participation in this yatra. According to Congress sources, permission has been sought from the administration for Rahul Gandhi’s helicopter. After receiving permission, Congress can make an official announcement about it. This programme is considered very important politically because the assembly elections in Bihar are approaching, and Congress is trying to strengthen its position.
Constitution Security Conference
After joining the yatra in Begusarai, Rahul Gandhi will go to Patna, where he will participate in the ‘Constitution Security Conference’ organised at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall. The purpose of this conference is to discuss the protection of the Constitution and the maintenance of democratic values.
This visit of Rahul Gandhi is being considered very important in the context of Bihar politics, as he has already visited Patna on January 18 and February 5.
New changes in Bihar Congress setup
Before Rahul Gandhi’s visit, major organisational changes have been made in the Bihar Pradesh Congress. The party has announced new district presidents in all 40 districts of Bihar. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has approved this list, and All India Congress Committee General Secretary KC Venugopal has directed that these appointments be implemented with immediate effect.
Bihar Congress meeting in Delhi
Before his Bihar tour, Rahul Gandhi will hold an important meeting with the 40 district presidents of Bihar Congress in Delhi on April 4. The purpose of this meeting is to strengthen the organisation and prepare a strategy for the upcoming elections. The new district presidents will be given special instructions to reinforce the party at the grassroots level.
Election strategy and possible impact
Rahul Gandhi’s visit is seen as a important step towards reviving the Congress in Bihar. His support for Kanhaiya Kumar’s padyatra is an attempt to bring forward the young and progressive face of the Congress. Additionally, his participation in the ‘Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan’ demonstrates the Congress’s commitment to social justice and democratic values. Through this tour, the Congress aims to strengthen its organisation in Bihar and establish a stronger presence among voters. It will be interesting to see what impact this visit has on the upcoming assembly elections.
