Patna: On the basis of all-round play of Ranvijay (62 runs, five wickets) and good batting of Radhe (64 runs), City Student Club registered a spectacular victory of 171 runs over Hercules CC in Patna District Senior Division Cricket League.
In the match played at NIOC Ground, City Student Club won the toss and decided to bat first. City Student Club scored a huge score of 301 runs losing all the wickets in 38.4 overs. Radhe scored 64 runs in 43 balls with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes, Ranvijay scored 62 runs in 36 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes. Sujay played an inning of 34 runs.
In reply, Hercules CC team was all out for 130 runs in 27.4 overs. Ayon Ghosh scored 12 runs, Ayan Ritesh Sinha scored 12 runs, Chandan Kumar scored 18 runs and Anirudh Raj scored 16 runs.
For City Student Club, Ranvijay took 5 wickets for 31 runs and Ashish Anand took 3 wickets for 19 runs. Ranvijay of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
