Ranchi, Jharkhand, April 28, 2024: Teams representing Odisha, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, and Manipur have descended upon Ranchi, poised for a showdown in the highly-anticipated 1st Phase of the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) 2024-25.
The eagerly awaited 1st Phase is scheduled to take place at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh AstroTurf Hockey Stadium, commencing on April 30th, 2024.
Structured into two phases, the NWHL is designed to uplift the sport and furnish a platform for both seasoned players and budding talents. In its inaugural edition, the tournament features the top eight teams from the recent 14th Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championships:
